A Note on Volunteering & VIRTUS

Saint Anne Catholic Church and the Diocese of Savannah are committed to providing safe environments in every organization that sponsors activities and/or provides services to children and youth.

The Diocese of Savannah’s Safe Environment Policy and Ministerial Code of Conduct require all church employees and volunteers to complete VIRTUS Child and Youth Protection Training and provide consent for a background check.

This policy applies to all employees and volunteers, regardless of whether they work directly with children or youth in their ministry.

As of September 2024, all Safe Environment administrative and training requirements are completed online at https://www.virtusonline.org/.
