Teen Presentation at 6:00pm in the Youth Center. All are welcome.
Adult Presentation at 7:00pm in Holy Family Hall. Must be 18+ to attend.
Technology is all around us. For many young people, the whole world of information is in the palm of their hands. Special Agent John Barry shares the harsh truth about the dangers that exist on the internet and real, practical ways to manage them.
Teen Presentation: Recommended ages 12+, but all welcome at parents' descretion. Special Agent Barry will speak to the teens about protecting themselves online, as well as share real life examples of of situations he has encountered in his work with the GBI Child Exploitation & Computer Crimes Unit. Talk begins at 6:00pm. Following the talk, stick around for pizza and discussion in the youth center from 7:00-8:00pm.
Adult Presentation: Must be over 18 (post-high school) to attend. Parents, grandparents, teachers, youth leaders, community leaders, and anyone else who values the protection of society's most vulnerable perople will benefit from this presentation. Special Agent Barry speaks more in depth with the adults. He shares information, stories, and advice that adults need to hear. Presentation will be in Holy Family Hall beginning at 7:00pm.
