  • Come To Grandma

    • COME TO GRANDMA
Come and visit the relic of St. Anne, located on the right-hand side nave of the church. St. Anne is the patron of our parish and all families. Pray for your family, parents, grandparents, and children. In addition, right around that altar, you will see the relics of the True Cross of Jesus, St. Maximilian Kolbe, Padre Pio, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, and St. Faustina. You can touch them, venerate them, and pray with them.

  • Letter From The Pastor

    • Hey there,

Are you feeling the weight of family struggles, the longing for descendants, or a sense of drifting away from your faith? Just COME TO GRANDMA!  Let me share something with you that might just bring a ray of hope into your life:  praying to St. Anne, the grandmother of Jesus.

You see, St. Anne holds a special place in the hearts of many believers, especially those facing challenges within their families.  As the grandmother of Jesus, she understands the complexities of family dynamics and the importance of faith in overcoming hardships.

When we turn to St. Anne in prayer, we're not just asking for help; we're seeking the intercession of a loving grandmother who cares deeply for her family.  Many people have found comfort, healing, and even miracles through their devotion to St. Anne.

Whether you're struggling with infertility, family discord, or a crisis of faith, praying to St. Anne can bring a sense of peace and reassurance.  Her example of unwavering trust in God's plan reminds us that no matter what challenges we face, we are never alone.

So why not give it a try? Take a moment to turn to St. Anne in prayer, pouring out your heart and placing your trust in her loving intercession. You never know what blessings may come your way.

I invite you to also make a pilgrimage, and visit our church.  Here you will find the first, and second class relics of St. Anne exposed on the side altar.  A prayer of faith will save the person, says St. James, and the Lord will raise them up!  Her grandson Jesus said: "Ask and you will receive"! Come and ask, your holy Grandma is waiting for you!

May St. Anne's prayers bring you the hope and healing you seek, and may you feel the loving presence of God in every aspect of your life.

      Warm regards,
      Fr. Dawid

Pastor of St. Anne Catholic Church in Richmond Hill, GA

  • Prayers To Saint Anne

    • Prayer to Saint Anne (1) Good St. Anne, you were especially favored by God to be the mother of the most holy Virgin Mary, the Mother of our Savior. By your power with your most pure daughter and with her divine Son, kindly obtain for us the grace and the favor we now seek. Please secure for us also forgiveness of our past sins, the strength to perform faithfully our daily duties, and the help we need to persevere in the love of Jesus and Mary. Amen.
Prayer to Saint Anne (2) Good Saint Anne, obtain for me an increase of faith in the great mystery of the Holy Eucharist.  Help me to see in this great sacrament Christ our High Priest, making real for me the saving grace of His death on the cross; feeding my soul with His Flesh and Blood so that I may live in Him and He in me; producing the unity of the people of God and gathering His Church together.  By your powerful intercession with God, help me to center my life around the altar that I may inherit the promise of The Lord: "He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood, as life everlasting."  Amen.
Devotional Prayer to Saint Anne Glorious St. Anne, filled with compassion for those who invoke thee, and with love for those who suffer, heavily laden with the weight of my troubles, I cast myself at thy feet and humbly beg of thee to take the present affair which I recommend to you under your special protection.  Please recommend it to your Daughter, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and lay it before the throne of Jesus, so that He may bring it to a happy issue.  Do not cease interceding for me until my request is granted.
(Here ask for the favor you wish to obtain)
Above all, obtain for me the grace of one day of beholding my God face to face, and with you and Mary and all the Saints, praise and blessing Him to all eternity.
Good St. Anne, mother of her who is our life, our sweetness, and our hope, pray to her for us, and obtain our request. (Repeat 3 times)

      Amen.
      Prayer for Saint. Anne's Intercession

Hail, O Good St. Anne, who first responded to the needs of Mary, Mother of our Savior and Queen of Angels.  Hail to you and to your husband, St. Joachim, who watched over her infancy, presented her to the Lord in the Temple and, according to your promise, consecrated her to the service of Almighty God.
Hail St. Anne, good mother!  I rejoice in the marvels you continually perform because they encourage all to seek your heavenly intercession.  And so with faith, and confidence I now place these needs before you, (mention your request).
Good St. Anne, by the great power God has given you, show yourself my mother, my consoler, my advocate.  Implore for me from Divine Providence the guidance and protection I need through life.  Console me in my trails.  Strengthen me in my struggles.  Help me bear all my crosses.  Deliver me from danger during times of trouble.  Assist me at the hour of death and open to me the gates of Paradise.  Amen.
Prayer for a Special Favor O Glorious St. Anne, filled with compassion for those who invoke thee and with love for those who suffer, heavily laden with the weight of my troubles, I cast myself at thy feet and humbly beg of thee to take under thy special protection the present affair which I commend to thee.
      (State your petition)
Be pleased to commend it to thy daughter, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and lay it before the throne of Jesus, so that He may bring it to a happy outcome.
Cease not to intercede for me until my request is granted.
Above all, obtain for me the grace of one day beholding my God face to face, and, with thee and Mary and all the Saints, of praising and blessing Him for all eternity.
      Amen.
Good St. Anne, mother of her who is our life, our sweetness, and our hope, pray to her for us and obtain our request. (3 times)
      Hail Mary…
Good St. Anne, pray for us
      Amen.

      O glorious Saint Anne,
      you are filled with compassion
      for those who invoke you,
and with love for those who suffer.
Heavily burdened with the weight of my troubles,
I cast myself at your feet
and humbly beg of you to take the present intention,
which I recommend to you in your special care.

Please recommend it to your daughter,
      the Blessed Virgin Mary,
and place it before the throne of Jesus,
so that he may bring it to a happy issue.

      Continue to intercede for me
      until my request is granted.
But above all obtain for me the grace one day

to see my God face to face and with you and Mary and all the saints
to praise and bless him for all eternity.  Amen.

Our Father; Hail Mary; Glory be.
Saint Anne, help me now and at the hour of my death!
Good Saint Ann, intercede for me!

      FIRST DAY
Dear Saint Anne, I appeal to you and place myself under your great motherly care as I begin this novena in your honor.  Please listen to my prayers and requests.
Help me, also, to begin this time of prayer with a heart open to the loving grace of God.  Give me the strength to begin a new life that will last forever.
Finally, blessed Saint Anne, I ask you to recommend me to your daughter, the most holy virgin Mary. Through her, may I receive the spirit of prayer, humility, and the love of God.
(Recite the Prayer to Saint Anne above, followed by the Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be, and the invocation to Saint Anne after each day’s reflection)
      SECOND DAY
From the depths of my heart, good Saint Anne, I offer you my homage and I ask you to shelter me under the mantle of your motherly care.  Help me to purify my thoughts and desires.
Aid my decisions so that all that I do may be done in love.
      THIRD DAY
Good Saint Anne, you were the first to respond to the needs of Mary, the mother of our Savior.  You watched over her in her infancy, presented her at the temple, and consecrated her to the service of God.
By the great power God has given you, show yourself to be my mother and consoler.  Help me dedicate myself to God and to my neighbors.
Console me in my trials and strengthen me in my struggles.
      FOURTH DAY
Good Saint Anne, you offered your daughter in the temple with faith, piety, and love.  With the happiness that then filled your heart, help me to present myself to God and to the world as a committed disciple of Jesus.
Take me under your protection.  Strengthen me in my temptations.  Show yourself to be a mother and help me to live a life of holiness and love.

      FIFTH DAY
Good Saint Anne, by God’s special favor, grant consolation to us who invoke you.  Help us to grow in spiritual wealth for the life to come, and guide us in our temporal affairs as well.
Grant us the gift of continuous conversion and renewal of heart.  Help us to accept the Gospel of Jesus over and over again so that we may be ready to be true disciples in whatever situations we may experience during our lives.
      SIXTH DAY
Good Saint Anne, free my heart of pride, vanity, and self-love.  Help me to know myself as I really am, and to learn meekness and simplicity of heart.
I realize God’s great love for me.  Help me to reflect this love through works of mercy and charity toward my neighbor.
      SEVENTH DAY
Good Saint Anne, by the power and grace God has placed in you, extend to me your helping hand.  Renew my mind and heart.
I have unbounded confidence in your prayers.  Direct my actions according to your goodness and wisdom.  I place myself under your motherly care.
Pray that I may receive the grace to lead a devout life on earth and that I may obtain the everlasting reward of heaven.
      EIGHTH DAY
Saint Anne, you gave birth to Mary, whose divine Son brought forth salvation to our world by conquering death and restoring hope to all people.  Help me to pray to him who, for the love of us, clothed himself with human flesh.
May I be guided from anything that is displeasing in the sight of God.         Pray that the Spirit of Jesus may enlighten and direct me in all I do.
Good Saint Anne, keep a watchful eye on me.
Help me bear all my crosses, and sustain me with courage.
      NINTH DAY
Good Saint Anne, I have come to the end of this novena in your honor.
Do not let your kind ear grow weary of my prayers, though I repeat them so often.
Implore for me from God’s providence all the help I need to get through life.  May your generous hand bestow on me the material means to satisfy my needs and alleviate the plight of the poor.
Good Saint Anne, pray that I may praise and thank the Holy Trinity for all eternity.

      Amen.

Prayer for Children and Grandchildren Saint Anne, you know my concerns as a parent and/or grandparent. So many dangers threaten young people today. Will those children I love get a good education? Will they find fulfilling jobs? Will they follow the ways of your Grandson?
Because I am worried about the future of my children and/or grandchildren, I entrust them to you, Saint Anne. Take good care of them. Keep them healthy and always on the right path, faithful to God’s commandments and love. If they have strayed from His teachings and Church, please help them to return.
Do for them what you did so well for your daughter, Mary. Teach them how to find true happiness in loving the Lord and their neighbor.
My hope and prayer is based on the goodness of God. I trust in Him to protect my children and/or grandchildren whom I love more than myself. Please intercede for them and for all the children of the world.
      Amen
A Grandparent’s Prayer Saint Anne, I am an anxious grandparent who worries and prays for my grandchildren. They are confronted with a life full of obstacles, dangers, and difficult issues. They are not always aware of them. I beg you to take them under your maternal protection because you took such good care of your Grandson, Jesus.
Together with your husband, Saint Joachim, you taught your daughter, Mary, to observe the Commandments and to love God and neighbor. Now I entrust my grandchildren to you.
How delighted you were when your Grandson Jesus was born! Out of that same love for Him, please extend your protection to my grandchildren. Some are still young while others have grown up and are facing life’s responsibilities. Bless them all. Help them discover the importance of prayer, the beauty of Christian values, and the love of the Lord! Keep them from danger, harm, temptations, and all obstacles to their true happiness!
Good Saint Anne, please keep all grandparents and grandchildren in your loving, motherly care.
      Amen.
Prayer of the Sick Saint Anne, beloved patroness, I come to you with confidence as a sick person, not only because you are powerful and kind, but also
because you have experienced life’s oppressive trials.

Over the centuries, you have obtained from your Grandson Jesus instant relief for countless infirm and sick people. Pilgrims to Saint Anne have never ceased thanking you for such favors.
At this moment, you know I am suffering, but, I want to unite myself with the suffering Christ. I offer my pains to the Lord so that His redemption be accomplished in all hearts.
I count on your intercession, Saint Anne, for courage and peace of mind. Do implore God to heal me, for everything is possible to Him and He answers your prayer.
I pray to you also on behalf of all the suffering and sick people of the world, especially those I know and assist personally.
      Amen.
Prayer for Christian Families Beloved Grandmother of Jesus, Beloved Mother of Mary, the Queen of Heaven, and Good Saint Anne, please take our family and all our dear ones under your special care.
Obtain for us the virtues you instilled in the heart of Mary, destined to be God’s Mother. With your holy husband, Saint Joachim, you have become wonderful models for Christian parents.
Help us to imitate your example in our families. Help us to make our lives reflect the peace and joy, the serenity and holiness which will show the world that we believe that God lives among us. Grant us to so live in God’s Kingdom on earth, as to merit a place in His eternal Kingdom, where our family will be united never to be parted again.
      Amen.
Prayer for Married People Saint Anne, make us understand the beauty and dignity of Christian marriage! May the spouses above all, and the young too, appreciate the greatness of the vocation to marriage according to God’s plan.
God has created man and woman with a natural inclination to unite in one flesh and to procreate children destined to live happily (Genesis 2, 24; 1, 28).
In this world, where so many have lost the notion of God and belittle the supernatural and even the natural values of life, do pray, Saint Anne, that spouses may find again the true way to love, happiness, and life.
Would that they were united in genuine affection and become day by day a better sacrament, a more perfect sign of God’s love for mankind and of Christ’s love for His Church! Protect them against misunderstanding and separation! Make them responsible
      educators of their children!

Bless us, Saint Anne, bless all the married persons, especially those who are facing serious problems.
      Amen
Prayer for Pregnant Woman Saint Anne, many women are grateful to you for a happy childbirth. They have prayed to you with confidence and you have heard their prayer.
Many mothers, suffering like you from temporary infertility, turned to you for help and were granted a happy pregnancy.
Others feared for their life while giving birth. But, you have calmed their hearts and today they are happy with their children.
Some were advised to resort to pernicious abortion. But, they trusted in you and have refused this rampant crime.
With the faith and confidence of a child, I come to put myself under your protection. I pray today and will pray to you every day for myself and for this lovely little being, I am bearing within me.
Obtain for me a trouble-free childbirth. Protect both of us! Keep us in good health! Bless also my husband and all my family.
Saint Anne, grant a special protection to this little child about to be born. I consecrate it to the Lord and your daughter Mary.
      Amen

Morning Prayer Lord Jesus, a new day is breaking and the munificence of your power
subtly dawns upon me. In the freshness of every morning, I sense another parcel of your Creation, which is but the overflow upon us of your superabundant life and love.

I take this day as a gift from You, O Lord, and readily accept whatever it will bring me: sunshine or rain, gladness or pain. I hasten to thank You for all the favors and graces You are going to
shower on me during this coming day. I give You thanks for all my brothers and sisters who fail to do so as if a bird could refuse to sing or a flower to smell good.

My prayer soars to You, O Lord, in order to make every moment of this day a praise to You, an act of adoration, a homage from my heart, all my soul, all my mind, and all my strength. I, likewise, want to love my neighbor.
May this day be a seed of eternal life!
Saint Anne, I love and venerate you. Lend me a hand with your daughter, the Virgin Mary, so that I may avoid sin, love my God, and serve my neighbor.
      Amen

Prayer for a Cure Saint Anne, beginning in the Middle Ages, Christians invoked you to intercede with our Lord on their behalf. They begged you to obtain a cure for their sickness or infirmity.
Now, I come to you with faith and confidence and ask you for help. I am afflicted and distressed with my illness and am suffering. The fear of an ominous future drains what is left of my hope. I worry for myself and for those I love. I know you can help me recover both health and hope.
You, Saint Anne, are so powerful and merciful and I trust in you. I trust that if you intercede for me, things will go better. It will become easier for me to praise God, to be generous, and to serve others thanks to my restored health.
I make this request for the health of my body and for the health of my soul. I also pray for all those who suffer on earth, for all the sick
confined to bed, at home or in the hospital.

Come to my aid, Good Saint Anne, and work for all of us today, the wonders you have wrought in the past.
      Amen
Prayer for Assistance I choose you, Saint Anne, as my refuge in all necessities.
I confide my temporal needs to your intercession. I trust that there is no sickness or infirmity for which you cannot obtain a cure. I know there is no situation, however difficult or desperate it may seem that you cannot settle.
Most importantly, I know that my spiritual welfare is even more precious than that of my body. Please help me, Good Saint Anne, to have a great love for my Lord and Savior, your Grandson, Jesus. Give me goodwill and purify my intentions.
      Amen
