Any baptized Catholic member of St. Anne Parish from fifth-grade students through adults are welcome to serve at the altar. To be an altar server is a great privilege and responsibility. Altar servers assist the priest at Mass as he leads the prayer of the community and prays over the bread and wine, which the community has offered, transforming those gifts into the Body and Blood of Jesus for the community. This is very important because being able to become part of the Body of Christ through the Eucharist is a way that Jesus offers us salvation from our sins and also a way that He remains with us in each other. As an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist, commonly referred to as the Eucharistic Minister, lay people have the privilege of offering the precious Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ to the faithful at Mass. This can be done during the liturgy, or taken to the infirm who are homebound, and to those who are in nursing homes. A person must be 18 years old, have completed VIRTUS training, and
be in good standing with the church. Initial training is conducted for all, and follow-up training as needed. Please contact Mr. Brad Seifert by e-mail at bradseifert2000@yahoo.com or by calling him at

Greeters create a welcoming atmosphere for parishioners and visitors as they arrive for Mass. A smile and, a friendly greeting are all that are needed to participate in this ministry. Greeters usually arrive 30 minutes or so prior to Mass to spend time with God in prayer before taking their place at a door. All ages are welcome to serve in this ministry! Please contact Mrs. Pat Byler by e-mail at ptakacs@hotmail.com, or by calling her at (912) 492-5971.
A lector proclaims the readings at Mass. Adults and youth are encouraged to become lectors. The Word of God proclaimed in the Liturgy is a living Word with power to nourish and transform both those who proclaim it and those who hear it. Lectors have the most awesome privilege of becoming empty vessels through which the Holy Spirit speaks to each member of the Church. Lectors become students of Scripture, reading it daily, learning the context of each reading, allowing the Holy Spirit to reveal the layers of meaning as they prepare. This ministry requires at least a couple of hours of preparation spread over the week before an assignment to proclaim a reading at Mass. Remember, God can use whomever He calls, even someone like Moses who had a speech impediment. Is God calling you to this ministry? Are you ready to empty yourself and be transformed into a voice for God? Please contact Mr. Chris Edscorn by e-mail at acornacademy1@gmail.com or by calling him at (603) 769-1402.
Music brings joy to the liturgy as it gives glory to God, enriching our worship and sending the community into the world with the Gospel in their hearts and on their lips. The St. Anne Adult Choir sings at the 10:30 a.m. Mass and at all Feast Days and Holy Days. Practice is on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. (in the Main Church), August through May. In addition, the Children’s Choir occasionally sins at special dedicated Children's Masses. Practice for children is on Monday at 5 p.m. If you would like to join one of our choirs by singing or playing an instrument, please share your talents with our parish. Please contact Mrs. Jody Deliguori by e-mail at Jody.deliguori@gmail.com, or by calling her at (912) 228-0993.
Ushers are men and women who volunteer their time to serve an important role in celebrating Mass. Their duties include greeting parishioners and guests at each Mass, assisting to seat the handicapped, selecting bearers for the offertory, guiding the Communion lines, taking up collections and securing the money, and when required, directing or assisting people during Communion. At the end of Mass, ushers also help to upright the kneelers, and assist in organizing booklets and hymnals in preparation for the next Mass. The time required is usually 15 minutes prior to and after Mass. Please contact Mr. Bob Spellerberg by e-mail at rtsp36@gmail.com or by calling him at
