Thanks to all of you who came out and helped today. We had some great weather to make the day out so much sweeter. The day was extremely successful in that we laid down 417 bales of pine straw! I want to thank you for some really excellent work that you put forth in beautifying the church grounds and giving the grounds crew the ability to maintain it. The playground equipment was pressure washed; the ground will be treated for ants, and unwelcome insects; the ground will be raked over and new mulch placed. I have attached a few photos of the grounds and some of you who helped make it happen. Thanks again!
Not a depression era photo below, but a handful of men who assisted all those who came out to spread, not the Coronavirus, but pine straw! Thanks to Ron Pruszynski for organizing it, and Dallas Daniel of Plantation Lumber for helping us to defray the cost of the pine straw! Thank you, thank you, thank you to all who helped. Our lawn care is all done by parishioners who volunteer thus saving SACC a tremendous amount of money!
